Min Qian attended the 31st CCS Congress in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and did a poster exhibition. - 2018.5.5

On May 5th, 2018, the 31st CCS Congress hosted by Chinese Chemical Society opened in Hangzhou International Expo Center. Nearly 70 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering such as Academician Jiannian Yao, director of China Chemical Society and chairman of the CCS Congress, Academician Jinpei Cheng, advisor and former deputy director of Chinese Chemical Society, Academician Xinhe Bao, director of China Chemical Society, Academician Kuiling Ding, Academician Guibin Jiang, Academician Xi Zhang, Academician Qilin Zhou, and Academician Qifeng Zhou attended the conference. At the opening ceremony, Secretary Jinpeng Huai, Academician Jiannian Yao and Academician Xi Zhang made keynote speeches, respectively. After that, Prof. Yang Shi from Harvard University/Fudan University, Prof. Zuowei Xie from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Prof. Jun Chen from Nankai University made invited lectures.

More than 13 thousand representatives from Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and so on attended this conference, which was separated into 48 sub-forums and 11 symposiums based on the theme “Building a New Age of Chemistry”. The agenda of this annual meeting lasted until May 8th.

Min Qian attended lectures in various fields, learned from leading figures, and discussed with researchers from different universities during the poster exhibition which broadened her scientific horizons a lot.
