Our recent work on “Highly Crystalline Multicolor Carbon Nanodots for Dual-Modal Imaging-Guided Photothermal Therapy of Glioma” was accepted by ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. - 2018.1.12

In this work, a kind of highly crystalline carbon nanodots (HCCDs) were prepared by facile solid-state synthesis. With uniform small size, high water dispersity, good biocompatibility and an outstanding photothermal effect intrinsically, HCCDs could site-specifically accumulate into tumors, especially CNS cancers like glioma, and achieve an excellent therapeutic outcome via optimizing the therapeutic window of photothermal therapy (PTT) under the guidance of high resolved photoacoustic/multi-fluorescence imaging. This work was mainly accomplished by Min Qian.
