Chengyi Li attended the 3rd LMU- China Academic Network Scientific Forum in Munich, Germany. - 2017.10.30

The 3rd LMU-China Academic Network (LMU-ChAN) Scientific Forum held by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) and Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) in Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (Munich University, LMU) between Oct. 27-29, 2017, kicked off at the arts of pearl, Museum für Abgüsse klassischer Bildwerke München. This forum aims at facilitating the partner relationship between LMU and Chinese top “Double First-Class” universities at all fields of academy, and promoting the cooperation in all fields of subjects.

At the opening ceremony, the LMU Vice-president Prof. Hans van Ess and Chinese embassies and consulates in Munich Prof. Chongling Huang attended the forum and gave speeches. Researchers coming from Fudan University, Peking University, HongKong University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University and Renmin University of China attended this conference which was separated into two sub-forums including 14 plenary lectures and 30 parallel reports. Chengyi Li actively communicated with several professors from LMU and Tongji University and Ph.D. candidates at LMU about the similarities and differences of academy, culture and life between Germany and China. By taking part in this international forum, Chengyi Li has broadened his scientific and life horizon greatly. Prof. Huang’s lab will provide opportunities for excellent lab members to take part in international meetings. Hope that lab members can gain not only some scientific achievements in academic field, but more of their life success due to future endeavor based on an international platform.
