Our recent work on “Antitumoral cascade-targeting ligand for IL-6 receptor-mediated gene delivery to glioma” was accepted by Molecular Therapy - 2017.4.26

In this work, a multifunctional peptide, I6P7, was exploited as a ligand in combination with precise oligomer based gene delivery system (I6P7-Stp-His/DNA). This system can not only specifically bind with the interleukin-6 receptor (IL-6R) which expresses in blood-brain-barrier and glioma, realizing a cascade-targeting effect, but also combined the synergistic effect of gene therapy and biotherapy for glioma. This work was mainly accomplished by Shanshan Wang.
